Sunrise Vondelpark
Periods of lots of rain replaced by sunny clear weather, produces nice scenes in my local park.
Sculptures
A series from a while back. I shot these back in 2013, when still living in Sydney. Every year the event Sculptures by the Sea takes place along the coastal walk from Bondi to Coogee. Not the nicest of days, but the overcast resulted in some interesting gloom in the pictures.
Laos
Although we didn't spend as much time in Laos as we did in other countries, it has left us with some great memories. Such a colorful and friendly place. Cruising on rivers for several days, staying in massive tree houses in the jungle and zip lining through the jungle canopies are just a couple of the great things we did here. Definitely worth a visit again somewhere in the future.
Vondelpark
Shot on 2 separate occasions. You can see how fog or sunshine influences the mood in the park. Enjoy!
Zuidas
One of the few places in Amsterdam to have 'skyscrapers'. I was looking for an area to shoot straight up facades and find nice geometrical shapes.
Vintage VW
On the east coast of Australia I came across this parked VW van. In the early morning light it proved to be a nice subject. The owner actually lives in it and was a great guy who I ended up having a coffee with.
Panorama
It's been raining for 2 weeks or so here in Amsterdam. Time for some sunshine! Here are a couple of panoramas I shot on the islands in South Thailand. I didn't have a tripod so I to shoot handheld, which turned out alright considering I had to align 11 pictures. The islands featured are: Koh Tao, Koh Nang Yan and Koh Phi Phi.
London
Here are some photographs of London, taken while we were visiting here in the days leading up to Christmas. The city goes pretty crazy during that time. Yet there are still plenty of spots to escape the crowds doing their christmas shopping or the other one million tourists visiting during the holidays.
