Contradiction

It’s been a while since I last posted photos. Settling into working life and moving a couple of times in Amsterdam has left me with little time to maintain this little project of mine. But things are rolling smoothly along now, so back to phototime!

This post covers the remainder of Cambodia. Such a beautiful country with a dark past. The horrible things that happened under the Khmer Rouge era are not even that long ago, and it’s tough to realize that a lot of of the people we saw on our trip have experienced what happened. Yet the Cambodians were some of the nicest people we’ve met in staying abroad. Always happy and cheerful and willing to help you out, without trying to take advantage of you as a tourist. Truly amazing.
